Important Notice:  The Department Visitation Dinner scheduled for September 30th has been cancelled by the Department Commander due to the recent increase in COVID cases and may be rescheduled for Spring of 2022 .

The VA considers patients enrolled in VA health care receiving cancer treatment or dialysis as high risk and they are given priority status to receive the COVID-19 Vaccine.

The VA established priority group one as veterans over the age of 85 years old.

The Albany VAMC is currently vaccinating veterans 75 and older who are Enrolled in the VA health care system, and those who have signed up at the above web site.

VA Policies and procedures pertaining to COVID vaccinations are fluid and are subject to change. This is the most recent guidance that was received today.
